RULES

Head-to-Head competetion
Teams will compete head-to-head from week 1 to week 14 of the regular season. Points totalled using the above scoring system will determine the match-up winners. If there is a tie, the commish will use the point totals for the teams back-up QB to determine winner. If there is still a tie, the team with the player scoring the most individual points will be determined the winner. If this further results in a tie, the matchup will be considered a draw. Each of the division winners and the 3 next best teams will move into the playoffs starting in week 15. Tie-breakers for division titles is as follows: head-to-head, division record, points for and finally points against. Tie breakers for wildcard playoffs is as follows: head-to-head, points for and finally points against. Each of the 6 playoff teams will be given a seed (1 through 6) with the 3 division winners getting seeds 1 through 3. Seeds will be based on records with the tie-breakers as follows: head-to-head, points for and finally points against.

Week 15 - wildcard playoffs; top 2 seeds get bye; seed 3 will face seed 6 and seed 4 will face seed 5.
Week 16 - semifinals; seed 1 will face lowest advancing seed and seed 2 will face highest advancing seed.
Week 17 - Superbowl

Line-ups
Each starting line-up must consist of 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 RB/WR, 1 TE, 1 Kik,1 Team Def and 1 back-up QB and are due on the Saturday nights at 8pm. If there is a Wednesday, Thursday or Saturday game players in that game are due 1 minute prior to kick-off. If a line-up is not e-mailed to the commisioners office by the deadline, the previous weeks line-up will be used.

IR
Each team will be given 2 IR spots or extra roster spots for injured players. A player becomes eligible for the IR if he is listed as doubtful or out for their next scheduled NFL game. Once a player is moved to the IR, the team has the option of signing a free agent to fill the roster gap. A player must spend a minimum of 4 weeks on the IR but can spend the entire season there if the team believes it is necessary. Players are allowed to stay on the IR until April 1 the following year. Players on the Ir must be moved back into the regular roster and the appropriate cuts must be made so that the 20 player limit is reached.

Rookie/Free Agent draft
The Rookie/Free agent draft will consist of 10 involuntary rounds and teams will select players from the rookie class aswell as from the pool of un-signed players. Draft position will be determined by last year's record, for the teams who missed the playoffs, and by playoff performance for those who made it. The Expansion teams will have the first 2 picks of the first 2 rounds and picks 5 and 6 for the last 7 rounds in the 2001 and 2002 drafts. It is not necessary for a team to participate in the draft or complete all 10 rounds. Teams are allowed to keep all rookies drafted until the cut down date which is on August 24. This only applies to the drafted ROOKIES, not the FREE-AGENTS. Teams will be given 48 hours to correctly adjust their roster to the 20 player limit if it indeed does exceed the limit with the newly drafted free-agents. The draft will be held on or near the 27th of April each year.

Expansion Draft
The Expansion Draft will be held for the incoming franchises at some point before the Rookie/Free-Agent Draft. Each existing franchise will be asked to protect 10 players (players protected are in bold on the Team Roster page), leaving the other 10 open for the draft. The expansion teams will select as many players as they want as long as they don't surpass the 20 player max. limit. Any unprotected players not selected in the draft will be retained by their original teams.

Trading
Teams are allowed to trade as many times as they want until the trade deadline which will be on TBA at 8pm. Teams are allowed the trade draft picks from this years draft aswell as picks from future drafts (3 year limit). Trading will resume on February 1st each year. When teams have agreed on a deal they must both send the commish an e-mail confirming the transaction. All trades must be approved by the commissioner. He reserves the right to cancel ANY and ALL trades he deems unfair. If the commish is involved in a trade, all protests and trade decisions will go through and be made by the co-commish. Trades will take 48 hours to process. Within that 48 hours if the commish receives 6 votes from league members against the trade the commish will cancel the trade. CHEATING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. If a team or teams are suspected of cheating the commish reserves the right to throw every team involved out of the league.

Free agent Signing
After the draft, teams have the ability to drop and sign free agents based on a "first-come first-serve" basis. All player requests and waivers must be sent via e-mail to the commisioner. Players that are dropped are given 48 hours to clear waivers before they become complete free agents. Teams may request players within the 48 hours however the team with the worst record will be given the first opportunity to sign the player once he comes off waivers(tie-breakers on records are head-to-head, points for and finally points against). After a team signs a free agent they are moved to the back of the waiver line and the team with the next worst record will have first dibs on the next available player awaiting clearance for free agency. You'll be allowed to pick up and drop rookies as you see fit but you cannot pick up a rookie off waivers unless you waive another rookie.
